The Sanskrit word, Ahimsa means non-violent or non- harmful behavior towards self and all beings. The origin of Ahimsa is deeply rooted into Yoga’s philosophical system and we are encouraged to apply this ethical wisdom towards ourself while both on and off of the mat. As you explore my recorded yoga sessions, I invite you to remain kind and loving towards yourself and remember to move at a pace that feels best for your body and energy level. Each session offers a specific focus, from lower back care to specific Yoga breathing techniques, known as Pranayamas, that are helpful in reducing stress, anxiety, and fatigue. Remember, you work hard and deserve a nourishing reprieve from your busy day, enjoy!
