Restore Your Sleep in the New Year
Yoga Nidra meets Behavioral Sleep Medicine – 2 Part Series
with special guest, psychologist Dr. Rachel Freund
Description: Sleep issues affect approx. 50 – 70 million people in the United States. If you struggle to get a restful night’s sleep, this workshop is for you! This workshop will help expand your knowledge about sleep and healthy bedtime routines, as well as provide the experience of Yoga Nidra, also known as the Yoga of Sleep.
During the first week you will have the opportunity to learn from our very special guest, Dr. Rachel. She will discuss the importance of sleep and the components of the sleep system. In addition to discussing the preservation of sleep-wake rhythms as well as strengthening sleep drive, with specific emphasis on calming the arousal system of the body and mind. Join us to optimize your sleep and build health and resilience through knowledge and relaxation. During the second week you will have the opportunity to experience the healing power of a 60-minute Yoga Nidra as an accessible and therapeutic approach that helps support deep relaxation and enhances restful sleep and mental health. This two-week series is accessible for all levels of experience, please join us and begin the new year feeling rested and refreshed. Detailed information provided upon your registration.

Mindful Mediation 4-week Series
Description: Begin the new year with stress reducing mindful mediation and breathing techniques. Mindful Meditation is holistic and provides many healing benefits some of which include reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, improves well-being, enhances mental focus, lowers high blood pressure, aids in restful sleep, and helps with navigating chronic pain. This four-week series is accessible for all levels of experience, from the novice to the seasoned meditator. Come sit with us and begin the new year with an improved sense of peace, calm, and equanimity.
