Mindful Mediation 4-week Series
Description: Begin your week with stress reducing mindful mediation and breathing techniques. Mindful Meditation is holistic and provides many healing benefits some of which include reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, improves well-being, enhances mental focus, lowers high blood pressure, aids in restful sleep, and helps with navigating chronic pain. This four-week series is accessible for all levels of experience, from the novice to the seasoned meditator. Come sit with us and begin your busy week with an improved sense of peace, calm, and equanimity.

Yoga for Perimenopause Support
Description: Perimenopause means “around menopause” and is a transformative passage when your body makes the natural transition to menopause, marking the end of the reproductive years. Individuals begin perimenopause at different ages, you may notice signs of progression toward menopause, such as menstrual irregularity, sometime in your early 40s and some individuals notice changes as early as their mid-30s. During this transition, it’s common to experience an erratic cycling of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone that can lead to a variety of uncomfortable side effects such as, insomnia, hot flashes, fatigue, cognitive and memory issues, depression, weight gain, irritability, anxiety, and low libido, taking you into physical and emotional upheaval. Thankfully, Yoga provides a gentle and holistic approach to supporting and restoring balance for the hormonal system and provides relief from the various unpleasant side effects commonly encountered during perimenopause. During our workshop we will explore the therapeutic benefits of restorative yoga, mindful breathing techniques, and guided meditation to support rest, ease, and realignment for your body, mind, and spirit as you navigate the perimenopausal journey. The workshop is accessible for all levels of experience from the novice to the more experienced yoga practitioner and everyone is welcome to join regardless of personal perimenopausal status.
