Yin Yoga and Mindful Meditation
4 week Series
Description: Yin Yoga is a quiet and meditative practice that focuses on the connective tissue and deeper fascia networks of the body. The practice invites you to slow down and turn inward, which helps to alleviate stress and helps to restore your natural energy levels. Yin Yoga is helpful in improving physical flexibility, increasing circulation, reducing tension, and with each pose held longer (on average 3 to 15 minutes) Yin Yoga creates a solid foundation for cultivating mindfulness and a meditative state of mind.
Each session will include Yin Yoga poses, Pranayamas (breathwork) and Mindful Meditations, this combination is helpful in releasing physical tightness and tension and supports nervous system regulation while creating a calm and relaxed state of mind. This 4 week series is appropriate for all levels of experience and adaptations will be provided throughout to support your personal practice.
Dates: Wednesday Evenings – June 21st – July 12th
Time: 6pm – 7:30pm
Sliding Scale Cost: $80 – $200 per person
Location: Findlay Contemplative Arts Studio located in the West Seattle neighborhood (upon registration detailed directions will be provided. Space is limited, please register early.)
